A housing search
Nine years on Windsor Place. Two addresses. One engagement at a block party. Mike and Sarabeth built the archive. They're trying to come home.
Mike German moved to number 7 the way you move somewhere when you don't know it will matter. Eric and Nancy Jacobson's place -- the sculptor at the end of the block, the one who's been there since the 1980s. He stayed seven years.
Then 46A for two years. By then he knew Timmie's name. He knew about Garry. He knew the Vackner house had been in the same family for a hundred years and was finally about to sell.
He and Sarabeth Brockley got engaged. The party was on the block.
They're not looking for a neighborhood. They already know this one. They're looking for a rental -- something with more light than a garden studio, dog-friendly, anything that's open. They have two very large, very good dogs (Chaco, 100 lbs; Canyon, 70 lbs). They will shovel the stoop. They will be there a long time.
The ask
If you know of anything coming available on Windsor Place -- a rental, a neighbor thinking about their next chapter, someone who knows someone -- reach Mike directly.
